Portraits

Having someone trust you to take their portrait is a truly special moment. Many people feel uncomfortable in front of a camera, and it takes time to help them relax and feel at ease. Capturing a person’s portrait while listening to their story and getting to know them is a real privilege.

Photography has allowed me to meet people from all over the world, from all walks of life, and spend time with them—offering me a glimpse into their lived realities. I learn something from everyone I photograph.
